BK Extreme wows Japanese diners

Burger King Japan Extreme burger

If you ever thought that the buns on you burger were getting in the way of proceedings, well, so did Burger King Japan. The brand recently unveiled this monster creation of a burger, dropping the buns entirely and replacing them with even more patties!

The appropriately titled Extreme burger comes with:

  • Four beef patties totaling more than 1 pound
  • Tomato
  • Lettuce
  • Pickles
  • Onions
  • Cheese

Replacing the buns with more beef? Genius. If you really need those buns to hold the whole ensemble together, the slightly more expensive Maximum burger adds a couple of them for a little more cash.

Food Beast write that the burger “is priced at 1400 yen (USD 13.50), making it more than three times the price of a Whopper in the country.” The new Extreme and Maximum burger come on the tails of the recently released insanely good looking Chicken Ugly Burger. I think I need to book a flight stat…
