Chili’s goes bold with claims for its new Chicken Sandwich

Chili's Chicken Sandwich

Chili’s are putting out some pretty big and bold statements with this one. Writing in their press release for an all new fried chicken sandwich the brand reckons it will “Put All Other Chicken Sandwiches To Shame.”

The new sandwich goes up against an onslaught of competitors including the reigning champion from Popeyes. Chili’s new sandwich comes with:

  • Buttered and toasted brioche bun
  • New Secret Sauce
  • Crispy hand-battered and hand-breaded fried chicken breast drizzled with more Secret Sauce
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Served with fries

The sandwich will be part of the 3 for $10 menu through June 30th.

Chili’s VP of marketing doubles down on the hype in the release going on to say, “”We didn’t want to create just another chicken sandwich. We’re all about food perfection and wanted to create the best chicken sandwich. And that takes time. We’ve been testing a chicken sandwich and our new Secret Sauce for over a year to ensure we give our Guests the perfect bite — a bite that’s full of flavor and makes you want another bite and another — and we’ve done just that with the Chili’s Chicken Sandwich.”
