Meanwhile in BBQ news, Summer has arrived at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit. May 3rd sees the release of an upgraded pulled pork sandwich across the chain – the new Sweet King’s Hawaiian Pulled Pork Sandwich.
The new menu choice features:
- Hickory-smoked pulled pork
- Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce
- Sweet King’s Hawaiian bun
The sandwich is priced at $8 at our local Dickey’s here in Salt Lake City.
The release is a timely launch for Dickeys as May happens to be national BBQ month and the 80th anniversary of the storied Q chain.
