It’s not just chicken on the menu – this month sees El Pollo Loco takes the wraps off an all new Beef Birria option. The trendy update is available in three formats:
- Shredded Beef Birria Stuffed Quesadilla: shredded Beef Birria, melted cheese, avocado, chopped onions and cilantro, $9.59
- Shredded Beef Birria Burrito: shredded Beef Birria, cheese, sour cream, rice, beans, cabbage, chopped onions, and cilantro, $9.49
- Shredded Beef Birria Crunchy Tacos: shredded Beef Birria, cheese, chopped onion, and cilantro, $8.79 for two
Pointing to the popularity of this relatively new dish, EPL reckon TikTok videos using #birriatacos have been viewed over 646.7M times on the platform. El Pollo Loco’s creations all come with a dippable birria consomé, “an authentic, slow-simmered, savory beef broth with garlic, chili, and lime to add bolder flavor to every bite.”
