Mark September 16th in your diary. That’s the date for the next salvo to be fired in the ongoing fast food chicken wars. Today McDonald’s teased the release of their new Spicy McNuggets coming to their menu soon. Their website states:

What could be better than Chicken McNuggets®? McDonald’s new Spicy Chicken McNuggets. Breaded in a light and crispy batter that’s boldly flavored with cayenne and chili peppers, these Spicy Chicken McNuggets deliver the heat along with the flavor you love.

The brand is also offering an optional “Mighty Hot Sauce” that promises to bring some serious heat to proceedings. As chili heads ourselves we can’t wait to get a hold of this. September 16th can’t come soon enough!
