Popeye’s Emotional Support Chicken

Emotional Support Chicken (Popeye's)

This tongue-in-cheek promo as the Internet abuzz today. Available on at Gate C31 in the Philadelphia airport you can now snag one of these fab looking “Emotional Support Chicken” boxes – effectively a three piece tender combo in a chicken shaped carrier.

The light hearted promo riffs on the recent story of a passenger in the United States being denied the ability to take their real life emotional support animal on a flight – the animal in question? A peacock.

No word on if this promotion will extend to other locations or how long it might last.   The poultry-boxed combo meal of three chicken tenders, fries and a biscuit sells for $8.49.
