Popeyes Seafood Specials Are Now Back On Menus

One more brand bringing the seafood specials for Lent – Popeyes. For 2023 the chain are bringing back to classic options, their Flounder Fish Sandwich and the Shrimp Tackle Box.

The Flounder Fish Sandwich, available in the US and Canada, was introduced in 2021 and now comes in both Classic and Spicy versions. The sandwich features

  • Flounder filet
  • Toasted brioche bun
  • Barrel-cured pickles
  • Classic Tartar sauce, or Spicy Spread

The fish filet is marinated in authentic Louisiana herbs & spices, then dusted in southern crispy coating, before being fried to a golden brown finish. Both versions of the Flounder sandwich are priced $8.39.

The Shrimp Tackle Box is another popular seafood item that’s back on the menu. It features eight crispy Butterfly Shrimp and comes paired with a regular side, a hot buttery biscuit, and also Classic Tartar sauce. For guests looking to switch things up, they can also opt for the Surf and Turf box, which includes four crispy butterfly shrimp, two chicken tenders, a biscuit, and regular side. Both Boxes are priced $7.99.
