Rubio’s latest to add plant-based items to menu

Rubios - Impossible bowl

Confirmed by press release today, Rubio’s have taken the wraps off three new plant-based menu items. The trio of additions all rely on the fabulous Impossible Foods ground beef product. The new menu items include:

  • Impossible Taco Salad – Impossible seasoned meat, romaine lettuce, black beans, roasted corn, salsa fresca, tortilla strips, sliced Haas avocado and signature pickled jalapeno ranch dressing
  • Impossible Burrito Especial – Impossible seasoned meat made, handmade guacamole, chipotle white sauce, roasted chipotle salsa, citrus rice, black beans and salsa fresca in a warm flour tortilla. Served with tortilla chips
  • Impossible California Bowl – Impossible seasoned meat made, citrus rice, handmade guacamole, black beans, crisp romaine lettuce, salsa fresca, chipotle white sauce with choice of salsa verde or roasted chipotle salsa

This gets a huge thumbs up from us, Impossible is our favorite in contemporary meat free options space. Expect to see the new items at all locations starting Jnuay 6th.
