SONIC launches Mesquite Butter Bacon Cheeseburger

Everything’s better with butter right? So goes the logic in the kitchen at SONIC anyway. With that in mind their new Mesquite Butter Bacon Cheeseburger apparently starts with being seared in butter – for an extra wallop of flavor. Not just any old butter either, the brand writes the burger is seared “with a dollop of smoky mesquite butter”.

Once cooked the Mesquite Butter Bacon Cheeseburger comes with:

  • Griddled, 100% pure beef quarter-pound
  • Tangy BBQ sauce
  • Crispy bacon
  • Two slices of melted American cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Grilled onions
  • Pickles
  • Toasted brioche bun

Expect to pay $4.99 for this time limited burger.
