Every fall, fast food fans look to the menus of their favorite restaurant – ready for pumpkin spice and fall flavors to make their presence. Stay tuned for 2022 options – we will update this page as soon as we start hearing from restaurants. In the meantime, here’s what happened in 2021:
Pumpkin spice Items in 2022
Donato’s
Filling your fall with the flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger, the new pull apart Donatos Pumpkin Spice Bread is oven baked, topped with oats, and drizzled with sweet vanilla icing. It serves up to four people, and when this limited time offering is gone, it’s gone. More info.
Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers
2022 sees the release of their Pumpkin Pie Concrete once more. According to the company – Freddy’s Pumpkin Pie Concrete is a seasonal classic made with fresh and creamy vanilla frozen custard blended with a slice of rich pumpkin pie, crust included, then topped with whipped cream and sprinkled with cinnamon.

Here are all the pumpkin related menu items we know hitting menus for Fall 2021 . Most are likely to be time limited offers, and also only available at select locations. Check with your local restaurant for accurate info.
7-Eleven
For 2021 the brand have released to limited edition Fall themed drinks as well as several new snack items as follows:

Cheesecake Factory
Starting in September Cheesecake Factory are offering two Fall-friendly dessert updates to their menu. Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pumpkin Pecan Cheesecake options can be found in the cheesecake case.
Cracker Barrel
Pumpkin Pie Latte: A returning favorite, the Pumpkin Pie Latte contains crafted coffee with sweet, seasonal pumpkin pie flavors, topped with whipped cream and a sprinkling of pumpkin pie spice. Enjoy iced or hot. Available until Nov. 29.
Del Taco
Via the Del Taco news room. In response to pumpkin spice everything, Del Taco has created an entire lineup of limited-time only beverages featuring the perfect fall flavor – caramel:
- Caramel Apple Shake: A vanilla shake with creamy caramel and Granny Smith apple puree, made to order
- Caramel Dulce de Leche Shake: A vanilla shake blended with creamy caramel, made to order
- Caramel Iced Coffee: A cold, sweet, and creamy caramel coffee drink perfect for anytime of the day
Denny’s
A longtime fan-favorite, the Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Breakfast is making its autumnal comeback for a limited time as this fall’s Spotlight Stack, featuring fluffy pumpkin pancakes made with real pumpkin and cooked with crunchy pecans, then drizzled with a perfectly gooey pecan pie sauce. The meal is served with fresh eggs, crispy hash browns and bacon strips or sausage links, which guests can enjoy either dine-in or by delivery via Denny’s on Demand. The Pumpkin Pecan Pancake Meal is also available as a stack, a meal or a family meal pack, which serves 4-5 people and includes eight pancakes, four bacon strips, four sausage links, eight scrambled eggs and hash browns. New Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew and Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, as well as classic Pumpkin Flavored Coffees, Donut, Muffin and MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats. Passionate pumpkin fans can find their perfect pumpkin flavored coffees at Dunkin’ for an incredible price. Through September 14, all restaurant guests can enjoy a medium Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew or a medium Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte for a special price of $3*, while supplies last. More info.
Honey Baked Ham Company
Offering a new Pumpkin Spice Glazed Turkey Breast (PSG TB) for a limited time. The food retailer combined a pumpkin spice flavor with its signature glaze to bring a new sweet and crunchy topping to the popular Turkey Breast offering just in time for fall.
In preparation for the limited time PSG TB offering, HoneyBaked partnered with OnePoll to understand the experiences and flavors that make up consumers’ favorite seasons. The results reinforced that the demand for fall flavors starts now. Read more.
IHOP
For the Fall 2021 season IHOP are offering Pumpkin Spice Pancakes as well as all new Reese’s Pieces Pancakes. Both are bailable in full stack ($8.99) and half stack ($4.99) options.
Peet’s Coffee
Peet’s 2021 Fall limited time menu and roasts are as follows:
- Pumpkin Oat Foam Cold Brew – Starting with refreshing Baridi Blend cold brew coffee, then topped with a luscious layer of silky, pumpkin pie-spiced oat milk microfoam for a sweet and quenching beverage with a smooth coffee taste.
- Pumpkin Latte – Hand-pulled espresso and steamed milk meet the richness of pumpkin. Topped with a sprinkling of seasonal spices for an essential autumn treat.
- Maple Latte – Hand-pulled espresso and steamed milk meet the seasonal sweetness of maple.
- Maple Oat Frappé – Smooth Baridi Blend cold brew blended with ice, velvety oat milk, and a touch of maple sweetness.
- The Chicken & Waffles Sandwich – A new and extra craveworthy version of Peet’s original Chicken & Waffles Sandwich, comprising two maple waffles topped with a crispy layer of toasted gouda cheese, savory chicken sausage, bacon, and a custom sweet & spiced spread, all crafted to satisfy cravings any time of day.
- Return to Vine & Walnut – Named after the original Peet’s Coffee location at the corner of Vine St. and Walnut St. in Berkeley, California, this medium roast blend is inspired by the flavors of the season. Vine & Walnut Autumn 2021 Blend is a limited-edition blend showcasing coffees from Ethiopia, with notes of dried fruit and warm spice, big body, floral notes, and sparkling acidity. This is the fifth year Peet’s has offered this autumn blend honoring its first coffeebar, and the blend can be enjoyed hot or cold.

Offering limited-time, scratch-made donuts with real pumpkin, tossed with pumpkin spice and sugar. Served with a sweet dipping sauce. 6 donuts per serving.
Pinkberry
Pinkberry is getting ready to usher in the fall season with Pumpkin-flavored frozen yogurt, topped with crushed graham cracker pie crust, whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon. This decadent swirl can be enjoyed in stores beginning on August 13. More info.
Trader Joe’s
While not a restaurant, TJ fans look forward to this time of year for the brand’s popular pumpkin spice updates. 2021 see’s Trader Joe’s add Pumpkin Spice Espresso Beans, Pumpkin Oat Beverage as well as Pumpkin Bread & Muffin Mix. Read the Fall edition of their fearless flyer here.
How popular is pumpkin spice in 2021?
Results from a poll conducted by Honey Baked Ham showed just how popular this seasonal special is. In the poll:
- 69% agree fall has the best seasonal flavors; in fact, 70% of people agree pumpkin spice is an essential part of the fall season
- 65% of people said pumpkin spice flavors should be available August through October; and 15% want the flavor to be available all year
- 59% said spending time with family and friends for gatherings is a favorite fall activity; and 71% of respondents said they feel disappointed when they miss out on an experience
In a different analysis (this one via Google Trends) the following study determined which states and cities are home to the most PSL-crazed residents anxiously awaiting the arrival of the flavored drink. Take a look at the full report here.
